The next few days were a little depressing.  Like y'all had read in my last email, a few of my teammates and I were supposed to meet the young rapper boys we met last week.  Something came up on Monday morning, and I needed to go to Pretoria to go get my India Visa.  Yes this is new news in my ministry.  I feel the Lord calling me to a week in India before I go home for Christmas.  I know there are some of you on this email list that were still thinking about joining this ministry here.  The trip costs include some extra traveling costs, some ministry costs, and miscellaneous living expenses.  It is around one thousand dollars for the whole trip to work out.  Right now, I have one hundred and fifty dollars.  I am just going to have to have faith that Lord will provide the rest.  I'll tell you a little bit about the trip.  We will be going to a country that doesn't allow missionaries in.  We are going under a humanitarian organization called SALT.  We will be there to spend a week with believers there.  We will be discipling them, encouraging them, and throwing them a really awesome Christmas party!  On top of that, I will be flying out of India to the US on December 22nd, and will be back in Illinois on the 23rd.  I might even make it to second service at Quest.  I really miss you church family!  If you want to support this India trip you should send a check to my Illinois address and my dad will deposit it in my checking account.  Our address is 1003 S. Barker Rd. Champaign, IL 61822.  Please pray about it!

On Monday I talked to a few of my teammates about talking to the five guys we had been ministering too.  It turns out our group got to Momelodi forty-five minutes after 1pm.  The boys thought we were going to be there at 1pm.  So, this week on Tuesday and Wednesday we were hoping they would come back to the Cresh.  They didn't come back so it was a bummer not to get to talk to them anymore.  They will definitely be in my prayers, and I hope they will be in yours too.  On the flip side my good friend Tylo has been ministering with me everyday at Momelodi.  He is a great friend, and also a phenomenal dancer.  He has won several break dancing and battle competitions in Johannesburg.  He has been translating as we go around and do street ministry in Momelodi.  On Tuesday when I was back to our ministry, Tylo and I walked around, and we looked for the guys I had been ministering too.  While we looked for them, we talked to many locals and had some great brotherhood time.  These last few days have been great to get to know him more.  He is so hungry for the Lord.  He is just graduating High School on this coming Monday.  I thought it would be cool if my church family could put together a Christmas for him.  I have his address and I know he could use a new bible and whatever you would want to give him for a Christmas present.  On Wednesday, we spent most of the day in the Cresh with the children.  We played netball with them, and sang many songs with them.  There are a few gals that put together a children's program many weeks ago, and it has been such a blessing to see what the Lord is doing through them.  He is teaching the children so much.

Also, this week we have been speaking to this lady named Esther.  She came outside on Tuesday when we went to visit our good friend Sam.  She came outside and told us that she was

hungry for God's word.  The last few days we have been giving her verses and going over them with her.  With Tylo there he can explain what they mean.  The verses we gave her this week are James 1:19-27, Philippians 4:12-13, and Galatians 4:1.   She is very happy that we have been going to see her each day.  On Wednesday, we didn't have Tylo and were still able to show her the verse in her bible that we wanted her to meditate on.  It just shows that even though the bible was written in Zulu and she doesn't speak a lick of English, the language barrier wasn't an issue.

This brings me to the next big event in our week.

As y'all know that Halloween was on Wednesday.  In South Africa, many of the cults and devil worshipers have huge celebrations against Christianity on Halloween.  When we got back from ministry on Wednesday, we were told that we had a couple hours to put some biblical costumes together.  With the help of many of my brothers, I dressed up as the Armor of God.  That's right I was wearing the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the shoes of Readiness, the Helmet of Salvation, the Shield of Faith, and most importantly the Sword of Truth.  We actually made a bunch of cardboard armor in about an hour.  There were many cool costumes.  I think my favorite two costumes were the three people who dressed up as the garden of Eden, the tree of knowledge, and Eve, and my friend Michael who dressed up as the three men that lived through the furnace (he wore two balloons on his shoulders to show the other two men and had all different color of construction paper flames taped around his waste).  We had tons of games, a costume contest, a dance contest, we lit off fireworks near the end, and then we had long worship session to finish off the night.  It was the most incredible Halloween party of my life!!!  I can't wait to find out what else is in store for the rest of the awakening.
