Our first day we had another day of morning prayer on the
beach. Did I mention how much I love
morning prayer? It was another enjoyable
day at the southern tip of the world. We
went over to the Jeffrey's Bay missionary house. If you don't remember from my previous
updates this was the team we spent the first month with. We had an amazing time with them. The morning was our time to reunite with our
JBay friends. I played euchre with three
of there teammates and a little ping pong.
I also taught 2 of my teammates how to play, which will be a definite
benefit for me down the road (man do I love that game). We had lunch with them and started prepping
for ministry for the day. It was my
first day in ministry at Jeffrey's Bay.
I went to a ministry called Ithemba.
Ithemba's ministry is at a church that has about one-hundred kids . Volunteers teach, play games with, and are in
charge of feeding the kids a couple different times. We spent about four hours there and I found a
little girl that I would love to adopt had she not had parent…..haha. We spent all that time with the children and
it was great to shadow the JBay team. It
is always neat to see another team's ministry sites. We sure have missed them! Actually on my day off (Tuesday the 29th),
the Lord has blessed me with a bundle of time to spend with them. I'm so thankful to have them as friends. They have been showing me the ropes of this
city all day. It has been a little
rainy, so I haven't hit the beach yet, but no worries it will happen. I can't wait to show y'all pictures at
Christmas time. I only have 2,000
pictures, so don't get too excited ;) I
may not get to email for about 10 days, so hopefully next time I'll have a lot
more updates. Until then, have a blessed
week, and praise be to Him for everything you have! I hope y'all had a fabulous thanksgiving, and
if you would please encourage my dad to put up Christmas decorations this year. That goes for you too Bozarth! Have a good week all.
