It is amazing how great our God is.  Yesterday after work I had been talking to my friend Kevin about his evening plans.  Kevin said the previous Thursday night he had went to an event called the "English Corner" held at a campus cafe by a Christian Campus House.  It was about 6:50 when I committed to going to this cafe and it started around 7pm.   When I arrived I was amazed to find that there was at least 25 international students sitting around tables with one or two open seats  per round table.  I love talking to international students because they are bright, set on learning, very committed to study, and have especially interesting customs and traditions.  This week we read over a page with them about superstitions.  You know, the old black cat story or don't step on a crack.  If you can imagine me being a pretty silly guy sometimes, then you would know that we had a ball.  I sat at a table with 5 international students and one another gal, Jenna, who was really great at explaining the text for them.  The majority of the story was about the big date coming up, 7/7/07.  We talked about all the different types of weddings that are happening on this day.  This ranges from Elvis weddings, to rollercoaster and tea cup weddings at six flags, all the way to the rich weddings sponsored by tiffany & co. that cost a couple $77,777.  The tea cup wedding thing was hilarious at our table.  I hadn't laughed that hard in awhile.  These students were such a blessing and encouragement yesterday to the fact that we all need to make time to be outgoing as witnesses for Christ.  Though a lot of the conversation was about the 2 pages of information we were going over, I did ask a few of them sitting around me if they knew Jesus and they said they had heard of him and were learning a little more about our God.  I only remember 3 of the 5 peoples names at our table.  Connie, Alicia, and Kaeng.  If you could pray that the spirit will regenerate their hearts to be able to completely listen to the message of the gospel and hear more about Jesus Christ that would be amazing.  I am really excited about going there next week and expect more posts about this great Ministry.  All things to the glory of His precious son's name.
